New items, characters and courses make fo Gravity–defying fun MARIO KART 8 – Launching 30th May on Wii U

3rd April 2014 - Nintendo today revealed new information on Mario Kart 8, the latest instalment in the fan-favourite racing series launching exclusively for Wii U on 30th May - in stores and on Nintendo eShop. For the first time in HD, Mario Kart 8 introduces original course designs that highlight the game’s new antigravity feature, which allows players to race upside down or up vertical surfaces. Racers will also enjoy a variety of series-favourite features including the return of 12-player online competitive play*, four player local multiplayer, hang-gliders, underwater racing and motorbikes.

A magical tale of a giant Dreamstalk and the kidnapping of a king awaits on 16th May when Kirby: Triple Deluxe releases for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. In order to mark the imminent return to action for this famous pink hero, Nintendo has today revealed a new colourway to its Nintendo 2DS staple in the form of Nintendo 2DS Pink + White*, giving fans the choice to represent the Kirby colours when gaming on the go.

Get into pole position for Mario Kart 8 on Wii U with the Mario Kart 8 Limited Edition Software bundle.
