Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap is the fifth installment in the acclaimed Orcs Must Die! series. This latest addition to the world of orc carnage offers a much deeper progression system where players gradually become stronger War Mages in each battle and enjoy endless replayability, whether playing solo or in up to four-player cooperation. Players are challenged to lay traps, upgrade defenses, and use their heroes' unique weapons and abilities to prevent orcs from reaching the portal – the gateway and powerful source of magic.
The game originally launched on January 28, 2025 on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox Series X/S and will arrive digitally on PlayStation 5 on July 29, 2025. Players who purchase physical console editions will receive the most current version with additional content and gameplay improvements that were added post-launch – including new levels, enemies, traps, storylines, skins, and the return of beloved heroes Max and Gabby.
