Compact and affordable 11.6" laptop with SSD slot

UMAX VisionBook 12Wrx is an affordable, compact notebook with an efficient Intel Celeron N4020 (Gemini Lake Refresh) processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, weighing only 1kg and long battery life. It offers a large 11.6" HD IPS display with high image quality for work and entertainment. It is equipped with two USB ports and one Type-C port for connecting external devices. The notebook can be connected to an external monitor or TV using the mini HDMI port.

Large full-width keyboard

VisionBook 12Wrx offers a large keyboard with large and comfortable keys for easy and comfortable typing. The keyboard is positioned across the entire width of the laptop

Modern Windows 11 device

UMAX VisionBook 12Wrx meets the parameters of a so-called modern Windows 11 device thanks to its light weight, long battery life, low profile and other technologies. The notebook is designed for home use, multimedia playback, office applications and travel.

M.2 SATA SSD slot for capacity expansion

There is an additional M.2 SATA SSD slot on the bottom of the device, which can be used to install fast additional storage to increase the capacity of the device or for operating system migration. The slot can accommodate a size 2280.

Intel Gemini Lake refresh N4020

At the heart of the laptop is the latest Intel Celeron N4020 Gemini Lake generation processor, which is manufactured using a 14nm process with a TDP of 6W and offers users not only performance, but also very economical operation. The new processor promises 20% more performance over the previous generation Apollo Lake processors. The higher version has been given a graphics option in the form of UHD Graphics 600 with 4K video support. The LPDDR4 operating memory is 4GB in size and together with the processor ensures smooth and very efficient operation of the computer.

Windows 11 Pro in English

Windows 11 Pro is the latest operating system from Microsoft. It brings a redesigned environment, some new features, increased stability and a higher level of security.

New macOS-style Start button

Microsoft has come up with a redesigned start menu and taskbar menus. Windows 11's basic setup has controls centered on the bottom bar and more closely resembles competing macOS. This can be switched to the standard look we're used to from Windows 10, where the Start button and other control buttons are left-aligned.

Manage windows and screens

The window and desktop management system has been redesigned. The organization of working windows is facilitated by preset templates that allow you to quickly arrange windows as desired. Virtual workspaces allow you to set different backgrounds, so you can more easily navigate to which desktop you are currently on.

Widgets

Widgets are now available from the main bar. These are still relatively unfinished. They only allow you to connect a few widgets that Microsoft offers. In addition, they have a life of their own and are not linked to other applications.

Android app support

This feature isn't available yet, but it's expected to appear in the new system soon. However, Microsoft is not going to implement the Google Play store, but the Amazon Appstore, where only a limited number of apps are available. Anyway, this feature could be very interesting and I am personally looking forward to it the most.

Integration of MS Teams

The new redesigned version of Teams is now available directly from the taskbar.
