Google presents the new version as a smarter and simpler version that adapts to users, mainly thanks to the support of artificial intelligence. One of the main innovations is a new navigation bar that supports gestures. You can now turn on gesture support, which changes the navigation bar to one main button. By moving your finger up, you open the improved multitasking window, where in addition to recent applications, you will also find Google search and icons of five favorite applications. If you extend the finger movement, the application menu opens, just as we know it from Android Oreo. The back arrow remains, but in most cases it is hidden. If you move your finger to the right side, the recent applications will open again, but you can quickly scroll through them.
The new system also extends battery life by limiting applications that you don't use as often.
