It's time to turn the book pages in Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon for Nintendo Switch! This illustrated book about the adventurous story of a young dark arts witch in training is out today. Players can join Cereza and her demon Cheshire on a journey through a forest full of fairies to discover the roots of the titular Umbra Witch.
Long before she became known as Bayonetta, Cereza threw caution to the wind and ventured into the dangerous Avalon Forest in hopes of rescuing her imprisoned mother. Cooperation between her and Cheshire, or rather his unique abilities, is the key to overcoming all the obstacles, traps and especially the Tír na nÓgs - illusory dungeons that will test the teamwork of both heroes. Search for elemental cores and upgrade your duo's abilities, allowing you to open up new paths forward and come up with new strategies in battles.
A demo containing the first chapters of the game is currently available on the Nintendo eShop. Players can transfer their progress to the full game and continue their adventure at the exact point they left off during the demo. Both the demo and the full version offer a variety of accessibility options such as damage reduction or automating certain controls. Both complete newcomers and series matadors will enjoy the title.
