Samus Aran, the greatest bounty hunter, must use new psychic abilities to explore planet Viewrows and find her way back home in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, starting today as the version for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch is released.
After an unexpected accident during an encounter with the mysterious bounty hunter Sylux, Samus finds herself on a strange new planet. If she wants to escape this planet alive, she faces nothing less than a thorough exploration of this alien world. Samus will battle terrifying threats, navigate environments strikingly resembling a labyrinth, and discover new abilities and upgrades to help her uncover the secrets here.
Upon arrival, Samus gains new psychic abilities from an alien race called the Lamorn, which once existed on planet Viewros. They now ask her for a serious favor. Thanks to these abilities, Samus is able to, among other things, control mechanisms or change the trajectory of charged shots, gaining access to previously inaccessible locations.
During her adventure, Samus gains access to a vehicle called the Vi-O-La. Thanks to its advanced features, she can travel across the entire planet and use unique weapons to fight enemies. Several Galactic Federation Troopers also unexpectedly find themselves on planet Viewros and will assist Samus in finding a way home.
