In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, available now for Nintendo Switch, an epic adventure awaits you on the ground and in the clouds of Hyrule. Players will embark on an adventurous quest to uncover the truth behind the cataclysmic event that plunged the kingdom into chaos. It is entirely up to their discretion what path they choose to take as they journey through the vast landscape and mysterious islands floating in the open sky.
New objectives, dangers, remarkable scenery and puzzles will require ingenuity and resourcefulness. Players can use Link's newfound abilities to battle the malevolent forces threatening the kingdom.
These include:
- Fuse - this ability can be used to fuse items and create new weapons with various unique effects
- Ultrahand - With Ultrahand, players can construct fascinating vehicles, use them in combat in creative ways, and outwit enemies
- Recall - Recall reverses an item's movement to create new paths, or can even send an exploding barrel back to whoever threw it
- Ascend - This ability allows Link to scour the ceilings of buildings and caves to find the quickest path or a useful exit
Along with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, a new Link amiibo is being released. By tapping this figure, players can obtain weapons, materials, and also a special substance for Link's glider. Also, by scanning another figure from The Legend of Zelda series, they will receive useful materials, weapons or a substance for the glider (depending on the amiibo scanned).
Also on sale now is the Nintendo Switch console OLED model of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition. In addition, a themed Pro Controller and protective case will also be available from today.
