Nintendo also reveals additional details on amiibo, Splatoon, Xenoblade Chronicles X and many other upcoming Wii U and Nintendo 3DS Games. 6^th November 2014 – During a Nintendo Direct broadcast this evening, Nintendo dropped a moon-sized reveal: The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, a remake of the beloved Nintendo 64 game, is coming exclusively to Nintendo 3DS in Spring 2015, with a limited quantity software bundle, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Special Edition, also available at launch. The Nintendo Direct broadcast also revealed new details for upcoming Wii U games like Splatoon, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, while Nintendo 3DS fans were treated to a further lowdown on Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. and Monster Hunter™ 4 Ultimate.  

Pre-orders for first  12 amiibo figures kick off  Nintendo's build-up to the end of 2014!

4^th September 2014 – Nintendo has prepared a bumper line-up of new games and products on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS and 2DS systems for the end of 2014. The line-up includes new entries from some of the biggest series in gaming, plus new amiibo interactive figures featuring some of gaming’s most iconic characters.

Sonic the Hedgehog, one of the most recognisable figures in video game history will be speeding his way back to fans – both old and new – this November. Today SEGA announces that in Europe both Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for Wii U developed by LA-based Big Red Button, and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal for Nintendo 3DS developed by Sanzaru Games of San Francisco, will be released on 21^st November.

New Nintendo Direct broadcast takes a closer look at Hyrule Warriors, with Limited Edition software bundle also announced. 5^th August 2014 – Hyrule Kingdom’s most feared nemesis, Ganondorf, has today been revealed as a playable character in Hyrule Warriors for Wii U during a Nintendo Direct broadcast that takes a closer look at the game.

Mario Kart veterans Princess Peach and Yoshi provide the inspiration for two new Wii Remote Plus controllers – both releasing on same day as Mario Kart 8. With just over a month to go until gravity-defying racing comes to Wii U in the shape of Mario Kart 8, Nintendo has today announced that a Mario Kart 8 Premium Pack – Special Edition Wii U hardware bundle will accompany the launch of the game on 30th May.
