Fight for survival on a mysterious alien planet and explore every corner with your own gigantic mech in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch. The game, originally released for Wii U in 2015, now comes to Nintendo Switch with enhanced visuals, additional story elements, and much more. Coming March 20, 2025.

The year is 2054. Humanity has abandoned Earth amid a devastating intergalactic war. As one of the survivors and a member of the New Los Angeles (NLA) colony, you embark on a mission to establish a new home on the hostile planet Mira. In this open world spanning five otherworldly continents teeming with unknown creatures – some reaching epic proportions – you'll fight for humanity's future.

In Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, the player is at the center of all sci-fi action. Their character can be customized in terms of appearance and class. The complex combat system offers a wide range of approaches to battles. Once players prove they can be part of the BLADE organization, they'll unlock a giant customizable mech called Skell. This will help them explore the world of Mira.

During reconstruction, players will meet people inside NLA, help them with their problems, and build relationships with other organization members. In return, they'll unlock additional quests offering rare equipment and other rewards. They can also join online groups* and face challenges in multiplayer missions, including the truly demanding Global Nemesis Battles. Additionally, players can recruit other players' avatars for the main story.

This definitive version of the game offers much more. For instance... who is the mysterious hooded figure on the beach?
